Best wishes to our Board Member Yihua Liao to his new post at Face Book.
December 1st, Wednesday, was the only evening our busy Yihua has time to meet us for a friendly dinner party to say good bye to him before moving to the Bay Area to work for Face Book next week. We tried to hold this event before the Thanksgivings holidays but we all were busy with family demands and disrupted by the arctic blast so not many of us can make it.
Our future board meetings will miss his always smiling face, always helping attitude, and always providing solutions to our web page technical issues. However, he promised that he will keep on helping CTEF in the Bay Area and may even start to organize some fund raising events there.
We prepared a certificate of appreciation for him signed by all those attended. During our conversation, he also surprised us with the news of being an expecting father of a twin by next spring. Way to go Yihua. Congratulations!
