Our volunteer Laura Yang went to Yanshou County in Heilongjiang Province in August 2010. She visited some of the students in rural area sponsored via CTEF scholarship program.
CTEF’s 1+1 scholarship program was launched last year. It originated from sponsoring the students suffered in the Sichuan earthquake. With our very dedicated volunteers, we are now support a broader scope of students that need financial aid as well as emotional support (via merged 5.12 pen pal program).
Laura brought gift to the sponsored students. She talked to them as well as potential applicants about CTEF’s 1+1 scholarship program in great details. The kids are probably not good at expressing themselves but please look at the happy smile on their face when they sit in the classroom. What a better gift can we give?

2010年8月27日杨秋敏女士远涉重洋来到了中国黑龙江省延寿县，看望明日中华教育基金会在这里资助的一些寒门学子。
杨秋敏女士为这些孩子带来了礼物，并表达了她自己和所有关心资助这些孩子的人对他们的关心和问候，杨女士分别与之前已经资助的学生和今年新申请希望资助的学生进行了座谈，向这些学生讲解了明日中华的捐资意图和宗旨并展示了明日中华在中国大陆各地捐资办学的图片和文字材料，让学生们感受到了明日中华基金会对大陆寒门学子的深切关怀。
座谈会上杨女士还就被资助的学生今后与明日中华的联系问题进行了详细地解说，让孩子们深切的感受到这些爱心人士对他们的资助不仅是经济上的更多的是精神上的，孩子们也表达了以后一定会与资助人多联系的愿望。
杨女士的到来让孩子们的内心充满了温暖，这些朴实而可爱的孩子虽然都不善言辞但他们的眼神流露了太多的感激和谢意。我们相信这些孩子一定会成为社会的有用人才，一定会把明日中华爱的宗旨传递下去，让全世界更多的人感受到爱的温暖。
